And I'm up and ready for work............ON TIME !!!!!!!

last day for THREE whole weeks. A stinker of a job to finish it with, but I'll just close me eyes and deal with it, when I open them again it will all be over. Perhaps not the best approach to work really

Anyway, time to browse posts and then have a slow drive in

My school friend was on Wacaday, and in the game where you had to hold up one of three big lollies with answers on them, he gave the following answer:

Timmy: New York is also known as the....?

    My mate: The big ORANGE

We got to see the wacpack he won though, so it wasn't too bad!
  • Guten Morgen all.

Woke at 7, watching XFiles whilst having a coffee. And being on here.

Work at 8:00am til 4:00pm then home, connect the new 32" 1080p TV (that's arriving today) up and so begins construction of the 'Command Centre' (see entertainment console thread)

Shall be testing it out with a cold one and watching:

    Blade Runner the Final Cut
  • Today I need to go buy some sandpaper. Will probably involve a trip to B&Q, walking round and coming back with loads of stuff I didn't really need / want, and forgetting sandpaper.

Later I'll be watching The Departed because it is awesome.

    Morning all,

Work for me today, 9-6, should probably get a move one actually. Had a few beers last night, and as a result had the best nights sleep I've managed for ages! Might have to follow suit tonight!

Mixed bag so far today, got up early, out on bike for a quick 15 miler, but the rain's turned the fields back into liquid clay. This was not good with Nevs fitted, so washed bike and fitted Storms. I really do need to find Gods tyre.
Breakfast with home made cherry plum jam, but kids not eating because I can't remember which one of the Nanny McPhee children they're being today.
No work today, but a trip to see M&D.
    Bit meh really
Visit Clacton during the School holidays - it's like a never ending freak show.

    Mornin'.

Today I'm gonna be doing some work so I don't have to on Monday. Packing a bag and a suitcase while deciding if I need to take one or two computers with me and trying to remember to take a razor. I hate deciding what to take when I go away :(

Not much planned for today, weather's crap and I can't be bothered to go and get one of the bikes wet... :?

Son's GF's 18th party later and hopefully some stuffs will turn up so I can do a bit of fettling.

    Breakfast was bacon & noodles.

    1. As a diabetic (or is that diabolical...) bacon & noodles is a much healthier breakfast than most cereals - check the sugar content - they're all EVIL!

    2. I'd be more interested in the 18 year old girl's moms...

never considered a diabetics food choice for breakfast.
i guess even toast has some sugar in.
    most cereals are out.
    can you even have milk?

and i have decided on a mother daughter combo, please. to go.

Morning. Spending the afternoon in the pub with friends, then going out for a meal with my family as it's my mum's birthday. Then, if there's time, back to the pub.

    Morning all

Today's forecast is starting with a morning filled with meh, around lunchtime i think i'll eat some lunch, then the afternoon will continue on from this mornings meh, this may continue into early evening unless something other than meh arises that either really needs my attention or sounds fun. Finally as evening fades to night and early morning I'll possibly go to bed.

Early forecast for tomorrow and the week ahead is another day of meh, or climbing or possibly sailing seeing as my bikes are away from home at the moment. As the week progresses the days will be filled with work and the occasional spells of meh. Early reports indicate that the evenings will be filled with riding bikes and/or falling off bikes at high speed

That concludes this weeks forecast, obviously it's all weather dependant, so i guess my forecast is about as reliable as the weather forecasts on tv

Recovering from a wet root crash up at GT last night, taking lines that the patriot can handle on the xc bike was a mistake.. So today will be spent on the xbox and maybe listen to some of the new season.

Saw a woman riding one of those cheap so called full suspension bikes last night... Odd part was, she had full panniers... At the back they were attached to the dropouts by the wheel and the seat post.

And at the front... The fork dropouts and the handlebar.

The whole bike looked like some alive mechanical nightmare contraption... squirming as she hit ever bump.
