Just picked up my new brompton after my old (2003 model L6) one split in two. What have they done to it?
The old one - unstable, heavy, brakes there for cosmetic reasons only - basically a necessary evil to get to work.
New brompton - solid, comfortable, light(er), and brakes that work.
WTF? - I might even start enjoying the commute

They are a fine piece of engineering, the fold is a piece of art. Room for improvement on weight front though.
