Second album was stunning too. after that it went slightly down hill with the odd standout track - smack my bitch up - fire starter et al.

Warrior's Dance is the only recent song of the same older vibe.

id love em to make a old skool rave (less punk) album

Tell me about it. My best mate is a huge Prodigy fanboi, he'd suck them off for a free T-shirt. He kept raving about how great the new album was on and on and on.
    So I bought it.
Biggest pile of electro-bilge I've heard. No energy, everything's super-compressed, the drums are moronic and have no drive.
    Total codswallop.

Jilted Generation was a killer album, but had one or two low points I reckon. Break and Enter is ok, but not stellar, and the same with "the heat, the energy". Again, still a great album though.

The Prodigy have a place in my memories. I was at a rave in the 90's and there was a mystery special act. Out come the KLF with robes, masks, fans, intro...just before the bass kicks in, they throw the robes off and it's Keith Flint going "F*ck this sh*t" and it kicks off big time.

The mood, moment, (substances maybe) but one of the best nights of my life.

There's a picture of my friend's sister (yeah yeah, I'd like a go on her) dancing on stage with Keith Flint, when the prodigy were just starting out, and DJing.
    In Bangor!
