So I go away on holiday and look what happens....!

Who's bright idea was it to split the forums...?

Seriously I can't leave you lot alone for 5 mins, sigh!

anyway whilst away in very hilly Jersey I did manage a few miles on one of the BSO hire bikes with child trailer tag along thingy, I also managed several scalps including a nice triple set climbing the hill out of Gorey Village :D

There is now a general board where serious questions are raised and answered, seriously.

    Panniers - homage

    Panniers - which ones?

    Panniers - Lights?

I think the thinking was we needed somewhere to discuss Panniers, Schwalbe marathon +, day glo and the like without getting distracted by chat and going off topic - sometimes you just need to know the spacing and wheel clearance ona Carradice 345(B) 2002, Canvas, without being engaged by someone in clumsy "grooming"

Are you wearing anything at the mo by the way?

A true scalp is not only overtaking someone but leaving them stopped at a set of lights. As you, who have clearly beaten the lights, pummels nothing but the open air ahead. ~ 'DondaddyD'. Player of the Unspoken Game

You know, if you don't tell us what happened, how can we all learn from it and make sure we don't do it ourselves?

If you observe the forum rules, then I can assure you it won't happen ;-)

In this case the member was PMing admin unconstructive and personal posts, plus many on the forum, despite warnings. Many posts were deleted as soon as they arrived.

I think he was chatting in the general forum about whether one could chat in the chatting forum about general commuting, or if that should ONLY be chatted about in the chat forum as it is in fact chat, and the fact it was chatting about general commuting was immaterial as it was still in fact chat. Some chit like that...
