I have just started riding in the dales as a change from the north yorks moors and am loving it.
In the last couple of months I have done
Bowderdale from Sedbergh loop
Castle Bolton apedale loop
Reeth frem edge gunnerside loop
Tan Hill via arkengarthdale loop
I am looking for a ride around Hawes/Bainbridge - around 40km/25miles.

Not a great deal around Hawes and what there is needs a lot of tarmac to link it up
try here:

The circuit of Dodd fell isn't a bad route but only 18 miles and a fair bit of tarmac.
Or get the v-grahics Dales books as they offer more options to link up routes.

Why not share some of your routes here:
http://www.mtbe.co.uk/
They are mainly N.Y. Moors based but enjoy getting into the Dales, I'm sure they'd be grateful of any routes/advice on routes that you have got.0 -
The routes I have been doing up to yet have pretty much all come from MBR. II think that there are memory map files for most of them on http://www.mtbsharp.co.uk/routes/index.html.
I have also got the ancient "The Lake District,The Howgills and The Yorkshire Dales" guide by Jeremy Ascroft -- so the routes I do are all pretty well know routes. I haven't done enough riding yet to put my own rides together.
I live in teesside so my weekly riding is the north york moors.0
