I recently had my beloved bike stolen she was quite a tidy little commencal combi disc hardtail with alot of upgrades,! anyway shes gone now, but to top it all off my insurance company tried to offer me 200quid! after long debates and lots off letters they have offered me £699.99p but the catch is i buy from halfords!
do i go for a good priced hard tail??? broadman comp?, voodoo Bokor? or do i get the cheaper range full sus carrera banshee x? (heard mixed reviews on the banshee) any help on this would be great if anyone has any off these bikes...:?
oh i do enjoy the good old trail ride and have only ever had hardtails, but i also do alot of short distance road trips to work etc! and i cant really spend alot more either, but need a bike soon as possible!
is the Carrera banshee X 10 anygood? can only find reviews on older models or the xxx version!
thanks alot guys...

The hardtails are still plenty god enough for the trails. I have a fury myself and love it, but the vodoos and boardman's have just as much support from the people on this forum.0

i belive the vodoo, not sure if it the one you saying though but the one in MTB mag came top listed hardtail along with the spez rockhopper in their top 10 bikes.
the sizes are funny ie 20" and then goes 18" i belive but if it fits it easy the best option as i belive if it the one in the mag MTB it has easly the best spec out of all the bikes you said and pretty dam nice frame.London2Brighton Challange 100k!
