My Stans (Tire) sealant arrived today.
So far, my mate at a LBS tried the green snot stuff...no good.
I tried Hutchinson sealant...Back held, for a while, front not much better.
Used soapy liquid on the rims/bead etc. I could hear the bead "snapping" into place too.
So, Stans going in later on. But, before that,
I'm going to: Put the wheels in the bath, to see if its the tyres, seal, valve etc.
Tyres are Spec 2.3 Eskar Tubeliss, part used on brand new Rigida Taurus tubeless rims.
Anything I've missed out/

Sounds like you are talking about a MTB, which if that is the case, you are better asking on the MTB forum...as tubeless tyres are rare on road bikes.0

The best means to get sealant into a tyre IME is via a big syringe - 25 or 50ml. Luckily have a friend whose a horse-vet and was able to supply suitable catheters that you can insert into valve stem and inject the sealant. Do it slowly and keep valve at 4 or 8 o'clock position to allow it to run to the bottom of tyre - too quick and it gets very messy!Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..0
