Well, that was Sweet and Dandy 8) Especially my favourite ever since it's release, 54-46 (That's My Number). Obviously lots of youngsters are being well trained by their parents in musical taste!

Must get a Fred Perry for next time, so I don't feel out of place.

Good gig wasn't it? When they eventually got on stage that is . . .

Toots is a great front man too . . .

And yes, much Fred Perry action going on :)

Pressure drop is my fave - love that song.

I saw the Wailers last year, the only original members were Family Man on Bass and Wire Lindo on keys, BUT

Close your eyes and it was BMW live. They started with Natural Mystic and I got choked right up.

Must get out to see more music, that was last Nov.

Saw Bob and the Wailers, Ninian Park around 1976.
Huge all-day concert in the Welsh summer - bloody wet/freezing all day!

Bob came on, and it stopped raining.
    Jah mon, Jah rule...

Toots and the Maytals were in Barry Town Hall, with Greyhound and the Uni Rock Movement.
Christmas Eve 73?...what a fanatastic Christmas present!!!

Think I saw Aswad or similar group, St Peters church hall, Roath, Cardiff too.
Saw Temptations in the Capital, Cardiff, 72, with Whitneys aunt, Thelma Houston.

Yes, coming on late wasn't too good. I was told they arrived late from France. Glad I didn't go in until 9pm.
Hearing the old Trojan tracks on vinyl was a good (if scratchy) touch though, Guns of Navarone etc, although the woman DJ got on my nerves.

    Don't call me scarface!!!!

You'd better buy some Trojan records soon, as I've heard on the radio that they are stopping printing them.

So, they will be unavailable in the future...

My old scratched, dusty ones should be worth a few bob tho!
