afan - am i right in thinking that w2,the wall, white level etc are all trails at afan, do you pay to use these trails?? and if i park in the car park are all the trails near the same start point and do they loop so tht i end up back by my car or do you just come out somewhere else??

cwmcarn - is this the same sort of thing and is it near afan.

thanks for any help

Whites and the wall are indeed at afan/glncorrwg and are 46 miles by road/motorway from cwmcarn...

  • The Wall & W2 start from cwm-afan visitor center (£3.50 all day car parking)

Skyline & Whites level start from Glyncorrwg - 20 mins down the road from Cwm-afan VC (£2 all day parking)

All trails are free to ride - just pay for parking. Both located about 20 mins from Port-talbot & M4.

Cwmcarn is 20 mins from the m4 near Newport - but only one trail -twrch trail (it is good though) - free parking & a downhill track if that's your thing.

Anything else you want to know just ask :)

never assume carparks are safe! lock everything away out of sight...

i don't know why that came out like 4 times

afan has guys on the gate, glyncorrwg is busy enough but it's pay and display. there was issues at afan and glyncorrwg a while back with cars getting broken into but i think that was mainly at night when people were camping. me personally have never had any problems there. cwmcarn is quite a busy car park and again i've never had any problems and i ride there every week :D
