Cove Handjob bb question ?

I've just purchased a new SLX chainset that comes with a external bb.
I currently have an isis bb installed and have noticed that the bb shell is very thin compared to the ones on my alu bikes.
To my best knowledge cove frames come ready chased and faced from the factory so no problems there. But it just seems that there isn't much material for the bb to clamp against ?
Will I have any problems fitting the new bb ?
Thanks

Sorry to semi-hijack your thread, but is this true? Are all coves pre-faced? What about the headtube?0 -
I would always have them checked.

Bit late on finding this one, but Cove HJ frame is NOT pre chased & faced in factory - Cove always recommend getting it done.
I did find on mine though that the headset was fine & didn't need doing.
If the bb is ok, don't worry, modern ones wear out soon enough anyway & you can get it done when you change it!0
