Hi
I thought I'd add a note to inform of a recent bike theft, in Basingstoke in the early hours of Friday 23rd July 2010, thieves managed to enter our property and steal our bikes from the shed in our back garden. We had previously had our bikes stolen in Oct 2008, and so made numerous preventative measures and used heavy-weight locks to secure our mountain bikes.
Our bikes were registered with Hants bike scheme and were water marked. However, if you see these bikes pls can you get in contact - bikes details below:
Gary Fisher 'Big Sur 2008' - hydraulic brakes
Red (white writing), 15.5" frame
Frame no: WTU035S1882C
Fox front fork
(White CRUD mud guards, Cateye computer, white bottle holder)
Marin 'Nail Trail' 2009 - hydraulic brakes
Metallic Orange (white writing), 20.5" frame
Frame no: F499BGE080
Bomber front fork
Bontrager seat, Felt headstock, Easton Handle bars, BBB Bar ends
(Cateye computer, silver bottle holder)
Many thanks
Kate
