Was in my own world at a red light behind a bus and looked up to see an advert on the back with a badly photoshopped girl and bike under a lorry in the name of cycle safety.

Anyone seen it? I thought it looked terrible, mainly as the photoshop was so bad

  • Plenty of real life examples they could have used... :(
  • I haven't seen it but then again we've probably got different bus companies operating down here. But, is it possible that a real -or even a more realistic looking - image of a cyclist under a lorry would have been too graphic for the public (and might deter nervous cyclists from returning to the road)? That possibly could have led them to use photoshop to create a more ''symbolic'' (read: less gruesome) type of representation.

Though maybe I'm being over-generous here - it could of course simply be shoddy shopping.

I've seen it, not sure I agree with the sentiment. "CYCLING IS DANGEROUS"

I prefer the ones that show giant people on bikes towering over London traffic. Bit more subtle :)
