hard day at work followed by an easy night.

Pushed hard on last nights ride & despite the wind average of 18.6mph with a max heart beat of 202 - now in pain

    Black ones?

Today will no doubt be as bad as the rest of the last 2 weeks at work with everything going wrong and my hairline receding rapidly as I rip my hair out.

The search for a new front wheel continues as mine is now buckled with a few bent spokes  Wish Merlin would get back to me

Why yes, yes they are :D

Kindly supplied by Tolk in exchange for a shock pump I wasnt using. Everyone is a winner!

Re. Front wheel. What you looking for? I've got one in the garage you can have at postage cost. Not a brand name or anything, but it's literally brand new. I bought a set from WHS ages ago because I needed a spare rear wheel, never even took the wrapper off the front one.

I'm going to the dentist, and then I'm going to work. I think I'll be the only one in. So I'll be expecting the crudders to keep me entertained.

Well, now I am officially on my way out due to voluntary redundancy, I seem to be finding it very hard to get into the office before 9AM, strangely enough!
Today won't be too busy at all, sadly the "Granite Curtain" firewall at work blocks out all things entertaining. If I had a buck for every time I got a "Site Blocked by Sonic Wall" over the past week, I'd be wealthy.
They've blocked Merlin Cycles too so I cannot even do the "Click to Buy" thing in my quest to get the 456 build completed before I leave the country in 6 weeks time

    Morning all,

Day off again today, I'm looking after the boy. Awaiting the postman, hopefully with my headset and gear cable, so i can get the mmbop built for tomorrows commute to work followed by an evening ride.

Just needs to be lighter than 1.5kg and have 6 bolt rotor hub, though not sure I trust a wheel bought from WHSmiths

I may have to bite your hand off on that offer, is the rim black? (yes I am a tart)

Morning gang, today, more tidying, more packing and more pretending to be tidying but in fact just moving things around. I will then be in bed for around 6-7 tonight as I have stupidly early starts Friday and Sat, although it does mean I'm finished for dinner time so I can get stuff done.like get a haircut. I'm debating wether to just get my hair cut, or whether to shave the lot off for hols.......thoughts???

me too, one other person in this week and they aren't here yet so I also will need entertaining!!!

Speaking of dentists, I think most of us hate them , but last week on my travels to Germany an army officer who is a dentist was commenting that my tongue piercing was good...usually they were meant to have a go at you for that!!!!! Strange things are afoot!

keep the hair :) You will have plenty of time to shave it off when you lose it when you get older!

Once I cut my hair short........and I cried.......and I was an adult at the time.

As it happens, yes, the rim IS black, spokes and hub are silver. Not sure on weight, but I'd imagine it's under 1.5kg

He just said the tongue and lip piercing combo was good and he approved, didn't say anything else! Although he did proceed to try and hit on me later on.....to which I politely declined!

Actually, I am thinking about piercings and whether to keep them....new thread to follow I think

Mine grows back in 2 weeks though, that said its gonna leave me with a funky afro in Lisbon, so maybe I'll just have a cut, especially as I'll probably have 2 weeks of beard by the end of it, meaning the top half of my face is tanned and the bottom isn't. That coupled with a fro is a bad look

You're also cursed with the 'fro? If left, my hair goes into a ball suitable only for 70s discos or enough gel to make me look like something from Dragonball Z.

This isn't bad sometimes. Removing hair some places is claimed to add a visual inch. Leaving hair on my head gives me a good couple of inches of height :D But can cause problems at thinner than normal doorways or cars.

Today's excitement is gonna be: work (some) and further car fixing. I was working late last night, so mainly car fixing today I feel :D It takes much, much less time to put an engine back together than it does to take apart.

    Good Morning Freaks!

Today, I'm awaiting a parcel from Bearing Boys. Upon receipt of the aforementioned parcel, I'll be attempting to rebuild a HT2 BB, from a well known Japanese manufacturer, even though it does say "Do No Disassemble" on the bearing cups... :D

I may also test out my awesomnes levels on the TT bike later.

    Har har har har.

I disassembled a BB from a certain japanese manufacturer who argue against it.

    However, it wasn't on purpose.

I thought summat was up. summat was indeed. Took out the axle... With extra bits attached and the rest going 'tingle tingle bong' on the garage floor. I R munch BBs.

I'm currently looking out the window at the rain pouring down. The only time I take the flamin' Convert out of my gear bag the weather forcast changes to heavy rain showers for the next 5 days.

Somehow I think my lunch time jaunt may be cancelled.
