Ooo that is mucho pretty. Not sure how long the pink paint on the braking surfaces would last though.

    Hi,
I'm with DDD on this one- Not my style at all- don't like the deep rims, the hubs are ugly, so's the stem, flat bars, only one brake (and on the wrong side, too! :-) ), naff looking pedals (& too long for hard cornering)... and that's before you get to the pink rims...
Looks like it's got straight-bladed forks, too. Yuk.

    Screams Fakenger at me!!!

    Cheers,

I'm offended that you associate pink fixies with anyone else!

But, I think Buns is harsh but fair. The pink and black's an acceptable combo but I'm not crazy about the setup.

This, however, is more like it:

Much better! Personally, I'd want another brake, and levers on the drops, but otherwise that's looking good.. if somewhat overpink...

Drop bars, it's pretty f*cking simple, eith buy a proper nmountain bike or get a road bike with drops. Ride something like that and you might as well sign up now to become some societal drop out living in the fuitier parts of Hackney.

Good rant, with all the requisite spelling errors. Sadly though you forgot to engage caps lock. You loose ranty points for that.

    Marilyn Monroe:

If we're honest - we all want Marilyn Monroe over Jane Russell.......Chapeau Blondie, a fine steed.

Actually I'd say Lorie Petty in Tank Girl mode vs Kate Moss in Pete Dougherty dating mode would be a better analogy, which makes it a tougher call. (C'mon, Marilyn was a chunky lass).

Having said that though guys - I hate to tell you but THIS IS A GIRL'S BIKE DESIGNED SPECIFICALLY AS A PRIZE FOR A GIRL'S ALLEYCAT RACE.

Nope, I wouldn't want to ride it, but I'd be chuffed if my wife won it.

Veering off a bit from the original post, but does anyone know what the stand is called that the bike is on in the original photo and if they're available to buy?
