Level that saddle before you do anything else! looks good though"Melancholy is incompatible with bicycling." ~James E. Starrs0

Like those Boardmans. but then i'm biased
Tyre-wise try some Nobby Nics."I spent most of my money on birds, booze and fast cars: the rest of it I just squandered." [George Best]0 -
Went on my first ride today, with a few lads from work and one of thier mates, who is just an animal on his bike. Went to Cannock Chase, Did bits of everything on the Red Trail and the bike was great, me not so great, been new to it all. Only thing what let it down was tyres due to it totaly hammering it down, went over a wooden trail run, touched my break ever so slightly and whoooops! Straight off i went :-D
Preformed well downhill, uphill, over drops, rollers and jumps. Realy impressed with it.
Next stop, new tyres, and a bloody good clean0 -
nice bike leesey....
i started back on a boardman ht comp last year and really liked it changed recently to a trek fuel ex 8 full suss.
as far as tyres are concerned id second the shout for the nobby nics great tyre not cheap but they stick to the trail in the wet...
ps.. the new nobby nics come with a very fetching white stripe on them will look very bling on your bike...if at first you dont succeed.....get off and push the bike!!!!0 -
Yer, i have been having a look at them, but they do seem a tad expensive. Think ill be ordering a pair of Maxxis Ignitor.
Was cleaning the bike today, and noticed that my rear break was sticking. Too the pads out to have a better look and seems that only on of the pistons is moving. So the bike is off back to halfords to have them sent back to avid for repair.
Not impressed with a sticking piston after one ride! Got wait a week though, just for them to take the break off and send them back to avid. Takes the mick abit!0 -
Very nice! With regard to tyres, I put a pair of Nobby Nics on mine and I'm very impressed with them so far.0

I will put the Panaracer FIreXC Pro's into the ring...good all round tyre, on a lower psi they are nice and grippy but can be pumped up fairly hard....not a great road roller I will conceed. Just dont bother with the coloured side walls with the Boardmans.0

+1 for panny Fire XC's, good in most conditions apart from really gloopy stuff. Get the kevlar bead versions for lightness and u wont go wrong, its what run and they do the job perfectly.0 -
Looks like an X-0 rear mech to me ?0
