Crashed off bike at weekend breaking collar bone in 3 places and my Met Inferno took one for my head and did the job. Thank you Met. Now need a new helmet but what to get?? Will spending more get me better protection? Or just get the same again?

LV typing leftie... off the bike for a few weeks now :cry:

    ...hope you're feelin' better soon. :)

    (Very) generally, more money = better vented, lighter + (arguably) more stylish. Not particularly more protection.
    Check with Met to see if they do a trade-in (some helmet manufacturers do), to save a few quid off your next purchase. :D

    Met may do a crash replacement policy. The Spesh 2D is quite good, v.light and airy (my partner has one) but as usual you need to try one on.
