GHS TT 2010

Hi guys
This years ghs 10 is taking part on the U7B. Has anyone ridden this course before? If you have please could you share some info on what its like with me?

    It's a rolling single carriageway course. Straight out to a roundabout and back. The way back is a bit shorter but also harder than going out. If you overcook it on the way out, you'll grovel on the hills on the way back and lose lots of time.

    Course record is 20'36 by Stu Dodd, who's done a 19'04 on the much faster U47.

  • I did the GHS Qualifying round on the U7B in 2005 and did a 23:50.. as Jeff said, although 10's are all about giving it 100% for the whole time, you will need to save a bit for the way back. There are a couple of small lumps over railway bridges that take it out of you, and it is more common for there to be a head wind on the way back.

    I may even enter that event myself provided I am not racing elsewhere as I live just up the road :)
