sore/swollen testis after cycling!

I commute to work doing 20 miles a day, also mtb on a weekend. Recently been getting terrible testicle pains and swelling, but only in the left one, also been getting shooting pains to. Went to see a specialist who said its because i ride alot! Currently waiting on ct scan results. Has anyone else experienced this?
Could it be the saddle? I havea cannondale saddle on the hybrid. And a wtb silverado on the mtb.

Could be. Mine are only sore when I smack them off the seat when out on the trails though

I think it will be worth looking at saddle angle, your position on it, or even a new saddle.

Also, might be a daft question, but are your shorts tootight? Could be restricting bloodflow.

And if all else fails, just hack them off with a breadkinfe - problem solved.

I find it gets better in colder weather ;-)

But in the summer, christ I could make a parachute out of the hairy bean bag.

Hi,
Shorts are good fit not tight. Been looking at the selle italia slr xc gel flow saddle with the middle bit missing. Might give that a whirl.
Does anyone have one of these saddles?

I haven't used that saddle but it looks pretty good. If you're riding that far to work every day you really do need a good saddle. You need to keep the pressure off your gonads otherwise you can get issues; which I guess you may have already. I hope your nut improves and the scan result is ok.

Might also be worth looking at a Brookes saddle. Marvelous things, if a little unconventional looking.

I cant get away with the brooks on my santa cruz!!!! It would just look odd. Although they do look very comfortable!!

Gonna give the selle slr a go and see how that goes.

Looking odd is one thing, swollen balls is another.
Looks like you might need to reconsider your priorities.
