Frame Serial Number?

I need to get the frame serial number for my bike insurance but there are 2 numbers on the BB shell. On runs along the edge of it length ways and is about 10 characters long the other goes acros and is about 5 characters long.

Which one will it be?? (what a newb question, not that I am)

Almost certainly the 10 digit one.

Why not contact Whyte.
Alternatively, you could also take a picture of the BB shell, showing both of them.

Yep it's the longer one.

My Whyte is F001E0001 which I think would be very cool - if anybody could see it.

Thanks. I've just called the police, and told them my Mountain bike was stolen whilst I was in the Wiltshire area, I can give them the frame number if it would help

Now I can FINALLY be allowed in that "whyte owner's" thread, properly
