Bike servicing recommendations

Haven't got the tools to do it myself, so I'm after some London-centric recommendations of good places to get a bike serviced/repaired, please.
South east London or central (Waterloo/Southwark area) preferred. Evans need not apply.
Any good ones?
I used to go to Brixton Cycles but they're a bit too popular now. Tried London Bicycle Repair Shop but didn't feel like I got decent VFM and they totally failed to fix my back brake.
The winning candidate will be servicing the winter trainer and fixing the commuting hack crankset/rear brake, so they don't have to be dab hands at top end racing bikes.
Cheers.

Good question. I was kinda hoping it could be something I could do on the way to work/while at work, but I guess if the place was right, I could hitch the bikes on to the car and take 'em west. Perhaps combine it with a delightful trip to the out-laws in Petersham.0

don't know if it's too far out for you, but i go to Bromley Bike. They're quick, cheap and do everything properly in my experience. tends to come in less than the price they quote too.0

If you've used Briston Cycles in teh past, how about Herner Hill Bikes just by Brockwell Park? Small shop but they guys come across as knowing what they're doing - they've helped me ouot in the past and charged a bargain price compared with the bigger shops.Never be tempted to race against a Barclays Cycle Hire bike. If you do, there are only two outcomes. Of these, by far the better is that you now have the scalp of a Boris Bike.0
