Hi everyone,
I've been browsing this forum for some time to try and find the answers I need but there is so much info here it's tought to decide.
Basically, I haven't had a bike for 20+ years and am now after a mountain bike to go cycling around the roads with my little boy, and the occasional dirt track (the track isn't too rough) and my budget is as close to £250 as I can keep it until I know I'll keep the cycling up.
I was considering the Carrera Vulcan Disc version as it was on offer at Halfords but is now gone back up to £330. I've seen that Apollo aren't worth having....but found this one instead;

Would that be good to start out with ?
Thanks for any advice would be appreciated...and also other places than Halfords to buy...
Jason.

Blitz,
Do you know much about these bikes as my local bike shop has got them reduced from £250 to £199 which might be an option as well...

Hey,
The vulcan is still on offer really they just changed the way it is shown. If you look online then when you add it to the basket 20% is taken off automatically.0 -
Whoahh, so it does....I even phoned them yesterday and they told be the deal ended that morning so was back up to it's regular price.
Thanks Chapp1e !0 -
