Short travel full suss

Hi, i went to my local dh track today on my hardtail and found it to be just too rough and for what i like riding, i can get much more versatility from a short travel full suss such as a kona bass. Problem being i want the parts off my hardtail on it so i would only buy the frame. Does anybody know of a short travel full suss frame which can be relatively cheap to buy?

You'd probably find many short travel full sus frames for a reasonable price, but if your after something like the Bass which is i believe a slopestyle/freeride bike you'll have a harder time. Maybe put an ad in the classifieds and keep an eye on e bay.

"noclue" that kind of frame is my aim. Kona bass, commencal absolute sx etc. I was after that kind of frame.

"pudseyp" looks a bit "flimsy", i would be using it for jumping, downhill and 4x so not really upto what i need. Thanks for the attempt none the less.

Think it will have to be secondhand, as a specific short travel frame more akin to 4x as a tad specialised, so a lot more expensive....the more burly you want then in general the travel gets longer....look for a Bass or 4x frame on ebay

Giant sell Anthem X frames which are well regarded. Can't remember the price, think it's somewhere between £500 and £1,000. Not sure what your budget is exactly?
