What to upgrade first?

I'm want to upgrade my spesh rockhopper but i don't know which bits are going to improve the bikes performance best.
please help
Just ride.

    Depends what you mean by performance...

    If it's to allow you to go faster, then I'd upgrade the rider... if it's to improve handling, probably upgrade the rider. On the other hand if you want to be able to ride for longer I'd definitely think about upgrading the rider.

    On a slightly less flippant note, some lessons are never a bad investment.

    If on the other hand you have some money to burn then get some pimpy wheels. It would however help if you say how much you want to spend and what's actually wrong with the current spec.

    forks and tyres , always.
    makes biggest difference to how the bike rides , performs.
