Thread in workshop lamenting the state of bike snobbery - imo people in the UK unfairly criticised if they spend £5k on a bike etc etc... doesn't really belong in Workshop
I take the Italian view having watched Ride of My Life: The Story of the Bicycle on BBC4 recently - as the boss of Cinelli pointed out - an Italian may only earn 15000 euro a year but he will spend up to 6000 euro on a brand new bike every 2 years or something to that effect - bella in sella
so those who delight in riding munters.............. do one

yeah but italian men live with mommy and daddy till their way too old so can afford to do that. I live in the real world with my partner, a young family, mortgage etc and cant do it. I dont care though, and i dont begrudge anyone spending what they want on their bikes, its their money, as long as they dont stick their noses up and look down on me or my bike, if they do they can kiss my a**e - pretentious snobs.Riding a Merida FLX Carbon Team D Ultralite Nano from Mike at Ace Ultra Cycles, Wednesfield, Wolverhampton 01902 7254440
