On another thread I gather some of the shimano parts and perhaps wheels/brakes arent up to the standard of the frame etc.
Any advice on which parts to upgrade and where to acquire them?
cheers

It is a general rule that bikes sold as a complete package are sold with the cheapest wheels possible so that should always be your first upgrade.

I have a 2008 Comp & upgraded the wheels to Shimano WH7850 C24 CL's - cost about £600 & I would very highly reccomend them. You can get them from the usual suspects - Wiggle, CRC, Merlin, etc

I've now upgraded the whole thing to a very expensive De Rosa (& crashed it very badly about 3 weeks after getting it  ) but that's cycling for you...always another upgrade possible :D
