hi all
recently been riding a strtch that is slightly downhill and has dried out water troughs/ditches approx. 2-3 foot wide
question is how to get over them without catching my rear wheel on the edge?
i ride a spesh rockhopper hard tail with flats

Take a shovel with you and build some sweet jumps?0

My advise was merely more detail on CWNTs comment, apologies for the vague-ness of it. The scoop was referring to scooping the back of your bike0

Why are MTB economics; spend twice as much as you intended, but only half as much as you wish you could afford? :roll:0 -
Bunnyhop is good but maybe it´s better to manual through it and then when the back wheel hits the other side just let it suck up into your body so it doesn´t hit on the the edge. You should be able to do it without loosing any speed and with a lot more control than a bunnyhop. You don´t even need to be able to manual that well.
Fat kid on a pick´n´mix sounds good too though!0
