Help needed I just had my Fox 36' Talas converted into 36' Float
by MOJO
The problem I have is that when you think you set the sag you
get constant flucturations in tha sag set at 65psi
IE one minute its 35mm then try it again and its 25mm
then its 30mm etc
I had then let some air out down to 55 psi but still get the same influcturations
in sag also bad nose dive during braking I think being not enough air in the forks
I called Mojo and they said that first it maybe my pump but How being i put air in
and get these flucturations and I let air out and get the fluturations.
Also I find a lot of resistance when manualy pushing these forks down
Any idea or pointers??

Sometimes stiction can affect sag.
When were they last stripped and actually serviced, ie new oil? or it maybe they need to bed in a bit if alot has been changed.0 -
Let the seals bed in.0

Nope all just serviced and changed to a Flaot at the same time
Just at the moment there like a bouncing Bomb front end.
Yeehamgeee How long and how much time they take to bed in?
Maybe doing a first ride at Afan the CwmCarn was a bad idea
End up bouncing off the trail and crashe which left an hole in my right elbow0 -

No! How do you think it beds in, the bedding in fairy visits in the night?
Just ride it till they smooth out.
And remember that sag can vary wildly between body positions and how gentle or not you are getting on and off the bike. 5mm tolerance seems about right for one-man sag chekup.0 -
