Do you ever just repair punctured tubes or do you just throw them away?
Is there a problem with repairing them?

I replace by the road till I get home.

Then I repair up to 3 times and back on the bike. I always keep the fresh ones in the bag.

    Then I bin & replace.
None of the above should be taken seriously, and certainly not personally.

I do pretty much the same as davidsee but repairing depends on the the possibilities. I got a couple of pinchflats recently and there was bits of rubber all over the place (he says, exagerating shamelessly). Hence, they just went in the bin but everything else I look to fix properly with a decent repair kit (in a nice warm well-lit room).

3 strikes & they're out is my motto - otherwise, with 6 bikes to run and the disproportionate price increase in tubes in recent years, it becomes an expensive business. I reckon on getting about 8-12 punctures a year. Replace tube on the road - tie a knot in the burst tube, take it home and chuck it in a big box - wait till I run out and then spend a couple of hours repairing them!
Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..

I repair them but would only ever use them as an emergency replacement out on the road & woudl never repair them again - only cost a couple of quid new & if you're puncturing often enough that it becomes a cost issue then you need to change your tyres or where/how you ride

Repair - absolutely no reason not to. Unless the hole is at the valve or the valve itself is knackered.
