Do you have a link to it ? I've had the 1/2 watt smart lights and they were pretty bright already.0

Hopefully they've made the new one waterproof, unlike the old ones.More problems but still living....0

According to the packaging they are even more waterproof?!?! Not sure how this works but time will tell i guess.0

I think the LED rules have gone now and you are free to have what you want as long as it doesn't endager anyone (eg a rotating Star-Wars type laser).M.Rushton0 -
Do you mean the Lunar R1 1 Watt?0

I'd say the half watts are not fully waterproof but are very easy to make fully waterproof.Faster than a tent.......0

Can only see the half-watt on the smart site but a 1 watt LED front lightM.Rushton0

Lights that do comply with the regulations are very difficult to find and are generally poor. the rules say "One is required, to show a red light, positioned centrally or offside, between 350mm and 1500mm from the ground, at or near the rear, aligned towards and visible from behind. If capable of emitting a steady light it must be marked as conforming to BS3648, or BS6102/3, or an equivalent EC standard. If capable of emitting only a flashing light, it must emit at least 4 candela."
The Smart lights say on the packaging something like "conforms" to BS3648, however the light isn't marked as conforming, so it doesn't. If it only emitted a flashing light it would be fine, but it doesn't so it isn't :?
Nevertheless, Smart 1/2 watt superflash lights adorn all my bikes 8)0 -

That's listed as 1/2 watt

I also have a Dinotte 400L rear light. It's very impressive in all of its modes. I challenge anyone
not to see me when I'm using it whilst riding, day or night (or produce the researched evidence
that says car drivers will so dazzled that they will consciously or unconsciously drive into the back of me).
I ride alone when I'm using the light0 -

Because you knew where it was for sale. Google throws up 1/2I like white bikes0 -
Well you could say that ....0

Have to say that it doesn't appear on the Smart site and Google only returns the half-watt.
Anyway, that has to be a scarily bright light. The old version was good for the money.M.Rushton0 -
The 1/2 watt version was soo damn good for an inexpensive rear light ....0
