accomadation in & around birmingham

can anybody help me, i am looking for some self catering accomadation for the BMX world championships in 2012 in Birmingham,for 2 adults & 1 child. I grew up in Keswick Cumbria but now reside in Australia, living on the oppisite side of the world & looking for cheaper style accomadation is really hard, maybe a caravan park or house share. my email is angie_5764@hotmail.com
