Spotted on CS3 this morning.
I bow to this lady's inventive approach to make the bicycle more utilitarian. And I am being serious.

Very brave of you to take photos of ladies from behind; all for research purposes of course

There is a chap who sometimes cycles down the King's Road looking rather dapper, with a similar set up. His box of choice is a wooden Chablis case.

    what basket!
  • Is that the junction on Cable Street where you have to press the button to wait for the lights to change to green for cycles? I was stuck at it for about 3 minutes last week, watching an oncoming cyclist waiting and then eventually giving up and crossing on red.

It simply hadn't occurred to me that they would put a seemingly permanently red light up on a cycle superhighway, effectively excluding moving cyclists from the normal light phase. I shouldn't be so naive.

Yup, that's the place. the lights are rubbish there.
I think some people should never look at cycle chic websites...

The old chap on my street has been doing this for years.

The view from behind isn't quite as pleasant though!
