No riding for me for a week as I'm off to friends for the weekend, then camping for 5 days in the lakes, then backs for said friends wedding. Home a week on Sunday then away back to work for 7 weeks near reading. Therefore yesterday was a 50 miler and today my legs ache.

Today I will be sitting at home waiting for the frame to arrive (it's currently been logged at douglas sorting office (down the road from my house) at 07:30. Should be here in a few hrs
Then I will be taking my old frame down the PO and sending to its new home and taking the new frame down the LBS for headset fitting.
I will then be building it up, and shopping for more shiny bits for it.

Another day churning out strange codey stuff to make lumps of magic doing dull things

Then, later, I finish taking most of an engine apart. One of the plugs has been cross-threaded in the past (boo, foolish people) so I'm taking the chance to inspect everything as I strip off the head. Change every gasket in there, give everything that needs it a clean. Straight six inlet manifolds are bloody heavy.

I've given up looking for a decent second hand frame, so will be buying a new red headset for the Merlin and installing the 318s, getting a deore triple and gears rather than SS.

I realised my plans for the ragley were starting to get way out of control, with a set of tapered fox talas, frame, shiney slx stuff and red/white/blue AM490 superstar wheels all about to be ordered last night at about 11.30 following a trip to the famous alcohol emporium of mr magoo.

Morning all,

Today I am sleepy, grumpy and lonely.

All on my own at work until Wednesday now. This either means that plenty of work will get done, or none. This is yet to be decided.

Just arranged to go to Tunnel Hill on Sunday though for a ride so that’s should make me happy, been a few weeks since I’ve gone on a proper weekend ride. Hopefully I won’t be too bashful or dopey or I may need a doc.

Didn’t get round to phoning O2 yesterday, I had a brain fart in the afternoon so had to redo some work. Will call them today and hopefully go phone shopping tomorrow.

Is it 1:45 yet?

In all seriousness though (I know, it's a new direction for me) if you think you want it, you'd best be quick. I can't imagine they'll be around for long at that price.

Look at it like this. Buy it now, if you don't like it, you'll be able to sell it on for the exact same price you paid for it after the CRC sale ends.

Afternoon (just).

Today, I shall be donning my rubber gloves and giving the kitchen and bathroom a clean. It's a student house, so it'll probably be the first time it's been done in a year, and most likely won't be done again until we're moving out in July and trying desperately to get our deposits back.

Afternoon people!
Well, I'm having a very interesting day. Had a 2 hour meeting about the work I'm doing for the next few months, and also about my colleague who is leaving. Turns out that whoever replaces him will be my minion, and I will have other minions too!!! Bacon butties in the morning! Woooo
Also, tomorrow I have a date with the girl I mentioned yesterday. She's not certain yet as she agreed to go to a party, but is now trying to get out of it. It's looking good for the mule 8) Also tomorrow, I'm meeting with an army officer about careers advice, so that will be interesting.

Next week I'm down in Essex visiting friends. Much wii will be played.

Too much good stuff is happening at the moment, I can't decide whether this is because of the bad luck I've had over the last 10 years, or whether I'm due more bad luck Needless to say, I'm very happy at the moment

today i hae mostly been amending my CV so i can apply for a second job in order for me to get more money so i can buy a new bike, bloody theifs! then its work and after that i'm gonna drink till i have erased this week from memory

Have spoken to O2 and they are letting me upgrade early. Result.

2 phones I was looking at are the HTC HD mini or the SE X10 mini. Anyone have any views on these 2 phones? Or can they recommend an alternative? Can't afford the full on big smart phones, so stuff like the HTC hero and desire are out.
