I have one but I haven't weighed it. In fact the only thing fitted is the headset
It is Reynolds tubing so it's not a true lightweight. Value for money is excellent and I intend on using mine (Summer Season version) as a complete new build HT All Mountain with 150mm forks.0 -
You have as Reynolds one? Standard ones are 4130 heat treated cromo, labelled DN6.
The medium frame weighs 5.5lbs.0 -
mine came in at about 2.6 kg and fully build came in at 12.6 kgI assume this is French petrol - be careful in reverse - the car will retreat rapidly at the least provocation.0

Stop weighing it, and ride the damn thing
If you're excited about weight, then a 456 may not be the bike for you...0 -
They ride lovely. Thats all you need to know!0

Is there such a thing as a Reynolds 456 one or is this a mistake?Current steed is a '07 Carrera Banshee X
+ cheap road/commuting bike0 -
They released a few 853 Inbreds.
But the stuff they use is good steel anyway.0 -

Mistake... my mind was elsewhere when I replied to that! Doh!0 -
They're a good frame if you get along with the Geometry and dont mind the fact they seem to use Tippex instead of paint.
Mine was used for everything from commuting to full-on DH racing and everything inbetween.
It's not light, but it's hardly a big fattly like a P7 for example. :twisted:0 -
I think it's 5.5 - 6 lbs. Mine is around 28lbs singlespeed.
The standard inbred is lighter and can still take 130mm forks. Very capable bikes. Nice bikes but not one to get if you are worried about weight. Maybe the Ti or Carbon version would be better?0 -

That quite respectable weight wise at a shade under 28LBS
I am going to try and keep my build fairly light too..0 -
COuld look at the Mmmmbop. Frame is 3.7lbs.0

Or if money allows, maybe a Soul, does a similiar job in a similiar way (though can't wear as big a fork) but weighs over a pound less. But on the downside, costs 3 times as muchUncompromising extremist0
