The Felt 95 is the raciest the other 3 are similar style bikes.

You cant really go wrong with any of them to be honest.
    Saracen Tenet 3 - 2015 - Dead - Replaced with a Hack Frame
    Voodoo Bizango - 2014 - Dead - Hit by a car
    Vitus Sentier VRS - 2017
  • Great thanks for the reply,

Im looking to use the bike to get in and out of work each day (10 miles) and a bit of weekend excerise.

Would you think this bike would be suitable for regular 10 mile journeys or should i be looking at a hybrid
  • In all honesty, I'd go for the Felt Team, cause I like the look of it, and the drivetrain is marginally better than the other felt.

There's not much to choose between the two you've linked, anyway, as prawny says you'll be well away with any of those bikes.

Have you ridden any of them?

Well, I think the Felt 95 looks nicest, but do you need mudguard and/or rack mounts?

If you're already happy with the idea of a road bike, I'd go for a road bike.

Ride some, see what you think. The Felt 95 will probably be the racier of the two you've linked to.

You aren't a million miles away from a CAAD9 for that money....

Fixed gear for wet weather / hairy roadie for posing in the sun.

    What would Thora Hurd do?
  • Proof of the pudding etc

I have a Felt F1x been used almost everyday for commuting and some off roading.

had it 3.5 years now, and all I have done is clean it, tyres and a couple of botton brackets, been brilliant, so you can guess where my vote would go.

  • Go for a hybrid for that short journey..

Can you get me cheaper holidays? Though with 3 posts to date I don't know how much I can trust your opinions yet. Certainly you're barking when it comes to bikes.
  • one last question. ill be using the bike 99.9% of the time by myself but i want the option of putting a baby seat on the odd time to bring my new baby girl out.
Would the wheels stable enough for the odd short journey or would i have to look at a hybrid in this case
    i really want a road bike !!!!!

i opted for the giant defy 1 on the bike2work scheme last year primarily as I was able to fit dedicated Giant mudguards there is hardly any clearance but the giant guards are made especially for the bike
