Ive changed the battery in the sensor but am now having difficulties with it working reliably. The auto pause frequency comes on whilst I am still moving and if I turn the GPS off the speed flicks from whatever speed I happen to be travelling at to zero and back again almost continuously.

Do I need to align the crank and spoke magnets and press the reset again?

Thanks muchly for any help

It's not just me then, I'm getting the Auto Pause kicking in whilst doing way over the Auto Pause limit. This only seems to have happened since I updated the firmaware. I could run without the Auto Pause turned on but then the ride time would still acrew when stopped looking at the lady commuters or other distractions like traffic lights.
I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.

I reset it before my ride home last night by aligning the spoke magnet and crank magnet with the sensor and then pressing the reset and it did seem a bit better. I've emailed Garmin and will post their reply.

The magnet might be the cause of my problems as I'm not using a Garmin magnet, currently using a Sigma magent as it's much slimmer and when I originally mounted the cadence sensor there wasn't the clearance for the Garmin magnet. Will swap it over when I put my new wheels on tomorrow, hopefully this will cure the probs along with doing the reset thing with both magnets aligned as above.
