Cycling in this morning - spinning along with zero effort and zero wind... at 19mph.

Looking at the grass and hedges beside me - all noticeably leaning in my direction of travel. :shock:

Realising I am cycling with a 19mph tailwind, I start contemplating the ride home.... :?

I'm now scouring the building looking for a Virgin to sacrifice, or failing that: a goat. Or a virgin goat just to make sure.

I had to suffer it yesterday, now it's your turn, I was slogging away last night at 14mph not much fun at all.

A headwind makes you work harder, therefore makes you fitter. It's like hills, helps build fitness and muscle. Both are your friend. You may not like being with them at times, but you will be glad afterwards that you were in their company.

Stop looking for goat, and pray that the wind is the same. Your thighs of steel will thank you later....
