So my Mmmbop was supposed to be arriving today as it was sent by Parcelfarce 48hr.
Looks like it's not showing up now, and tomorrow, I'm in the office and the wife is out all day, so there will be no-one in to take delivery.
I want to know, is it possible for me to ring Parcelfarce and ask them to deliver to work instead? Obviously, I'll be there, so I CAN take delivery.

Well weve had to phone dhl before to get them to cancel a delivery mid route and it wasnt any problem so i cant see why not, think youll just need to go through the customer service and quote the tracking number, worth a shout0

i've got the number of the driver before with parcel force and arranged to meet him somewhere on his route so i can take delivery, i needed ID though so he knew i wasn't just some random guy0

from what I remember... if you miss the delivery-
1) you can go to the depot to pick it up
2) you can organize a redelivery
3) you can get it delivered elsewhere, but I think there may be an admin charge0 -

Depot is on t'other side of the Island. As they are now late on their quoted 48hr delivery, I'd like them to deliver it where I want it if that's possible.0 -
yeh its £5.50 to change address but phone them up you might be able to convince them to wave the fee if its late.0

Yes, if you miss delivery you can do as you say above, but I dont want to miss the delivery (which will be made 24hrs after they said), I want them to deliver somewhere else so I dont miss it.
Might give them a ring in a sec and see what they can do.0 -

Is it guaranteed 48hr delivery to IOM though?0 -

So just stroll over.Advocate of disc brakes.0 -
I decided to just take tomorrow off. That way I'll definitely be here when it arrives and can take it straight down the LBs to get the HS fitted. With any luck, I can still have it built up by tomorrow night.
I guess I should really cut them some slack. It's had to come from Ireland to England to IOM after all. I've never had a problem getting stuff in 48hr before. I just want it soooo bad0 -
are we putting money on the non delivery tomorrow?"Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

i reckon the problem is you, not parcel force.
there is too much whining and woe is me on this forum at the moment, you all need limes and string, nothing else.0
