Ive changed various bits and pieces over last 2 years, some big some small.
But i think the combination of:
Ditching the big ring in favour of a bash - fitting a short cage mech (XT) - fitting a chaindevice (blackspire stinger) - shortening the chain to suit.
Silent running is such a small thing but i love it. No chain slap or that chattering on the rough stuff. (although slightly ruined by new pro 2's)
have the cruddles made any recommended changes?

similar really, i changed to an SLX double and bash and love it, don't know why i haven't done it sooner. i love the extra clearance it gives. when i can get the cash together a set of avid elixrs will be next to improve on the juicy 3's i have0

Only had 1 ride out on them but they're immense! The small bump absorption is incredible, even over the Race!
I'm currently enjoying 135mm travel atm... but can now switch to 150mm for decents! love it!0 -

Agree with the lock-on grips, dn't change the ride, but changing grips is now a doddle compared with the old days of fannying around with hairspray and such.Santa Cruz Chameleon

Probably replacing my Idrive 5 frame with my Hemlock frame. But some people would call that a whole new bike so failing that, my gravity dropper.Uncompromising extremist0

fizik gobi and Elixir CR Carbons.
No doubt the best bit will be the on one whippet frame, although I'm a bit miffed at the huge weight when they got the 29er sub 1kg.Visit Clacton during the School holidays - it's like a never ending freak show.

Best change I've made was removing some spacers from under the stem, I can't believe how much better the bike corners with the bars 10mm lower - and it was free!0

Raising my seat, previously had it about 120mm from frame, now about 190ish and my legs dont hurt anymore0
