Are CAAD8 any good? Can anyone recommend them....
I was looking for a CAAD9, unfortunately no one has any stock of a 58cm local to me, so the LBS has a CAAD8 in stock with Tiagra groupset.

Westbrook Cycles have a Tiagra 58cm in stock - Liqugas colours. If that's what you want they will deliver to you.

Thanks for that brit66.
I'm looking for a bike in the region of £1000 to get on the cyclescheme.
Just found this which is excellent value with Ultegra Groupset:-

Not sure what Cube bikes are like though....0 -
The CAAD9 is by far the better frame; I took the Tiagra stuff off mine and put my SRAM Force stuff on it (Tiagra stuff is on the winter bike now).
Never ridden the Cube, but strongly recommend you ride both if possible? Otherwise, go to your nearest decent bike shop and ride several different bikes in this price range.0 -
Westbrook were really good when I bought my Cannondale from them and also when dealing with my 105 shifter failure, would recommend them, nice guys. Think they do cyclescheme.0

+1 for the Cube...I used to own a Streamer before my current Cube and they are a very good bike. Very stiff but not a harsh ride...try as many bikes as possible before you part with your hard earned I say... 8) ...I love those Caad9s though.....Find your limits...and then exceed them frequently0
