should be getting mine start of sept (aslong as mother complies :P) and thinking of going with a blue/white theme, too many options to chose from though on most components :x0

I replaced my knackared old grips with these babies...and I love them. They are very squeezable and comfortable...hands grip them well and they are lasting very well for one so soft.

+1 for superstar grips! I am personally a big fan of flanged grips too (ooh-er). The Superstar ones are cool, but the ODI ones are nicer again as the flange only goes half way round.A Flock of Birds

Superstar, yeah they look cool, but that rubber lasted all of about two months!! In this case, it does seem buy cheap, buy twice!!
I'm ordering the ODI Yeti Hardcore Lock-On Bonus Pack, they seem to last for ages.0 -
depends what shaped grips and what material you want them made out of.0
-
And the Lizard Skins Peaty Lock On Grips were spot on as well, lasted ages, as well as looking the biz.. not too many colours though.0

Sorry but that's utter rubbish, especially considering most of these grips come out of the same factory. You sure you didn't order the super tacky ss grips?
The Nuke Proof grips are identical to these for instance.0 -
I thought they came from the same factory as well, but the Peaty Lizard Skins lasted me a good year or so though, Including trips to Afan, the peaks, the Lakes, the Superstar haven't even lasted half that time and I've not covered that terrain this year!
I got the Custom Grip Builder - Supagripa ones!
I'm not the fussed like, they only cost a tenner!0 -

i would go for what i went for the superstar lock on grips with red locking ends, there so nicediamondback LS02

Depends on hand size, peatys for smaller hands and yeti's for bigger hands.0

Lizardskins Charge for me for the little bike, and ODI Rogues for the big bike. Charge's nicely ribbed so is grippy and comfy all day, Rogue is nice and bulky and grippy and great for rougher stuff.Uncompromising extremist0

I like ODI rogue bmx and Xtreme lock ons but I've got big hands and like a need a fatter grip.-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_

Why are MTB economics; spend twice as much as you intended, but only half as much as you wish you could afford? :roll:0 -
+ 1 for ODI ruffian lime greenWhats That All About !

If you like a fatter grip then give these a go. They are mega comfy and come with a cracking pair of bar ends. They're available in both thick and thin.

Hopefully some of you are still reading this...
If you buy a pair are they identical or do you have a left and right? Damn quick service seeing as they are very busy.0 -
I am after grips (as i said on my question).. Are superstar grips p[rone to wearing pretty quickly or will i get a good 10-12 months out of them (riding 80+ miles a week)?
Also , how long does delivery normally take?
Cheers guysConstantly trying to upgrade my parts. It is a long road ahead as things are so expensive for little gain. n+1 is always the principle in my mind.0 -
Superstar do two types of grips.
Super Tacky and standard.
The super tacky ones, as with most things super tacky, due to being a softer compound won't last as long. The standard grips will last and at £8 even if they don't and you have to buy two pairs in a year they are still cheaper than one pair costing £16.
Don't believe the hype of "Named" grips for all I see they are doing is ripping us off.0 -

Cheers for the response. Choices choices.0
