    spin on spin off. you need the correct tool and a big lever.

    SS freewheels are quite sturdy so you can spin them off by putting the strocket in a vice and twisting the wheel. This is what Halfords did and I have the removed Vitamin freewheel in a drawer in in perfect condition. :D

    there would have been a freewheel tool in the vice as you need to hold the inner part.

    I've just got a 16t freewheel from Halfords.

    They wanted to book it in and charge me £10 to change it. I told them to sod off, and I'm now looking for the cheapest place to get the tool.
