Hello All
Been looking at websites at loads of cool retro jerseys e.g. Solo
http://www.solocc.com/products.cfm?cat_id=1
tried a few out in Condor the other day, problem is that since I am not super slim (only a few pounds over weight by the way) they fit really badly. Either they are too tight in the tummy area and make me look ridiculous, or they are too big all over.
Anyone have experience of cool looking retro cycling jerseys that are a bit kinder on those of us carrying a few pounds? If I lose enough to wear the skinny ones that would be great, but I'd like something to wear in the meantime

I managed to get some older teams: Z, PDM, Carrera etc from eBay.
Don't know if they're retro enough for you?0 -

try Prendas they have loads but not sure on what sort of fit you are after.
Still waiting for the Aqua & Sappone leopard print one to come out, wish I had got on during that season. Saw a Seaco one today too which still looked pretty cool0 -
The cruel true is that team replica roadie jerseys look best on thin people
If you are fat they look stupid
MTB jerseys are designed with a more flappy cut, maybe you should wear them instead
However when I started riding 50 miles a week+ I dropped 2 stone in 6 months and went from a 36" to 38" waist to a 34" waist. So just ride a bit, lay off the pies and wait a few months. All the cycling kit is cheaper in the winter too0 -
