The campaign stems from the cycling petition http://katlayout./co.uk and the realisation that a further push is needed...

We will be lobbying for a better provision for cyclists in Newcastle by co-ordinating the efforts of individuals and organisations involved in cycling and enabling employers to become cycle-friendly.

By bringing together the existing extensive network of enthusiastic cycle activists and organisations we will unite all effort to work towards our common goal of making Newcastle a cycle-friendly city.

...may that be through media appearances, organising events or more bike lanes.

Makes sense? What would YOU like to see?

    Nope.

But I know her: she's kickstarted Newcastle's Critical Mass http://newcastlebybike.co.uk.

I am very grateful to her for that! Especially as the Newcastle Cycling Petition http://katlayout.co.uk identified that more action is needed.

She's such a 'drama queen' though.
