What's the best value of these 2 Fisher 29ers

I'll be ordering one of these next week, rode the Xcaliber and love it. I could stretch to the Paragon if it's much better value (1300 cal, 1600 paragon).

What's the best bet ? xcaliber with 300 to spend on upgrades or the paragon ?

I'd say the paragon is not worth the money.

Both will want a new set of wheels eventually, the forks are a personal choice but IMHO fox are overpriced and overvalued, i'd rather have the reba. Not much in the drivetrains, the brakes is a biggie, the elixirs are a lot better but then you may already have some decent brakes that you like or a set of elixir 5's is £135 from merlin.

I'd perhaps wait to have a look at the new scale 29r which should be out soon.
