Driving to work this morning I saw Colin Charvis riding a bike through Newport (as someone pointed out he is serving out a drink drive ban). It got me wondering what well known people you have seen cycling. Don't get many celebs in these parts so Charvis is the most famous person I've seen outside of pro cyclists!

Alec Baldwin on a BMX. We were talking to some girls who were in their beachfront patio next to the boardwalk... up he rolls looking for a lighter. He was a bit drunk, but very pleasant.

Wait I just thought of one - I used to escort Dave Cameron in to Parliament when he cycled in sometimes, before he was PM.

Saw a dead ringer for David Haye a couple of weeks ago riding a Specialized hardtail up the hill past Streatham Common. Could've been him doing a bit of training (although he only seems to fight once a year these days and I think he mainly trains over in Cyprus...)

Saw quite a few celebrities on bikes when I went to see the Tour.

They were all in the full team TT kit. One of them was Lance Armstrong, another Alberto Contad....

Damon Hill picked up a bike from my old store, for his Mum, and drove off in a standard A class.

And my ride buddy sold Russell Crowe a couple of road bikes whilst he was shooting Robin Hood in Bourne Woods.
