Hey there guys, I went out on a short ride today and noticed a scraping sound coming form my bike. Upon inspection it was coming from the front wheel. Thinking it was a misaligned brake caliper, I adjusted the caliper but the sound is still there when i tried it out. So I removed the brake pads and the sound is STILL there. It sounds like a brake disk scraping the pads but it isn't.... so what do you think I could do to solve this?

Thanks, Jimbo
I still can't understand why I want a singlespeed steel hardtail when I already have a full-susser with 27 gears.

Yeah, tried it just now, still the same.... You think I should take a look at the bearings? It's a Deore hub. (without a service for quite a while)
