I was recently Introduced to "american bacon" which is basically streaky bacon. I had never had it before and was amazed by the cripsy thin joy that was entering my mouth.

    My vote is for crispy

I can take it either way, as long as the fat is removed. I prefer not to eat the fat either way but can just about take it if it is crispy, but if it isn't ergh

Hmm bacon fat- best fat going! But I kinda like it crispy sometimes too. As long the fats browned slighty I'm happy.

I also cut the fat off. But most definitely prefer it with a fried egg on.

Cut the fat off but have a fried egg on?

    Good effort.

what a terrible misunderstanding this has caused, how dreadfully embarrasing

I like my bacon barbequed, slowly.

Other than that I like smoked bacon, dry fried then a lovely slice of fresh cut bread to mop up the fat and juices with yum

    my mum lives in rhyl.

bacon should be cooked for as short a time as possible therefore i vote for not crispy.

    big d has spoken.

ps: vegetarian bacon is nice, me and my veggie wife have it sometimes.

YES! Good thinking. mind you I did eat so much bacon on a recent hotel stay that I could barely move without breaking into a big out of breath sweaty mess a fortnight ago.
Maybe, more bacon, but in moderation. Just.

Gotta be crispy. A crispy bacon and ketchup sarnie is about as good as it gets in my book. Some say brown sauce, fair enough, Heinz ketchup for me though.

On a recent trip to Holland I ate so much crispy bacon at breakfast I damn near sh*t my leg off. It was arsom.
    Happy trails.
