Following on from the other bacon related thread this morning.Which do you prefer?

Smoked or unsmoked?

Unsmoked all the way for me.

    Although If you put it on a sandwich or top it with smoked cheese that can be pretty yummy :)

    I like both but smoked just pips it. The smell of smokey bacon while its cooking is superb!

    unsmoked and black treacle cured.

    It's very rare to actually get real smoked bacon it's usually something that's been painted with brown chemicals from a big white bucket

    Either for me as well.

    On my stag do last year we went clay pigeon shooting and part of the package was lunch, involving either a bacon or sausage sandwich. 1 of my mates, when asked what he wanted, asked whether the bacon was smoked or not. Man did he get some funny looks.
