Giant hyde park forks

My mate needs to change the forks on his Giant Hyde Park hybrid but I can't find much info on it anywhere as to size of forks etc. I apreciate it's an old bike but I assume the forks will be 1" steerer? All I can find online is from this Italian site from 2001....

The picture on your link shows a 1" threaded steerer fork. If you want to replace with the same sort of rigid fork, or even a short travel suspension fork, then you don't have a lot of choice. If you go to any bike shop that has a Raleigh B2B account then you can get a rigid fork for £27 or a sus fork from £65, you will need to remove the existing fork & measure the steerer length due to the thread on the top so you can buy the same length.0
