Good Morning Andy, good morning Crudcatchers

nice to see someone up before me this week too. Today is an annoying day, so I'm going to moan and whine this morning. I've woke up and my wrist and ankle are fecking killing me (left wrist/right ankle) propbably too much masturbation and kicking cats. I managed to sort of Run over a cat yesterday in the train, but it made it all the way underneath the train and out the back in one piece, poor bugger.

Anyway today, i should have been on standby , but they've moved me to the longest and poopest job in the depot, so I start an hour and a half later, and finish 2 and a half hours later at half 4, then I'm bak in at 5 tommorrow, ah well, i spose i have to actually do some work some days. After I've finished, I'll be getting an hour or two in down the gym, try and loosen up these joints

Anyway, on a plus point, I had a good blast round Northicote farm yesterday afternoon, followed by a trip to see the A team.

right time to go play trains, have a top morning gang byeeeeeeeeee

Morning, little one decided that she wanted to wake before daddy and poo on him while he was feeding her, all this and half an hour before my alarm went off

Still havent put my car on auto trader or fleabay, must do it this week before the weather gets too bad for tyre kickers.

i spent most of the afternoon yesterday trying to get hold of a rocky mountain dealer who actually stocks rocky mountains  only place i found was winstanly bikes but it said it was 2-3 days before dispatch which sounds to me like it isnt actually in stock?

Anywhoo kettle is on, i've been at work half hour early and my time starts now.

  • Morning freaks.

[Before I start - VW - don't CRC stock RM frames..? Just a thought]

Woke early today (even before alarm went off) so am having a brew/on here before sarting to get ready.

Today will no doubt be another day filled with meh! as usual. Really can't be ar5ed lately... with everything and more importantly...work!!!! Quite unlike me TBH. Hopefuly just a phase.

TV has packed up so thats more money down the pi55er... even more annoying when I made a big song and dance about not leaving it for my ex, I swear she put a curse on it. Anyway, off to Richer Sounds on lunch break to start looking for another one. I am thinking 42" Panasonic Viera :)

What I really want to do is fire up the Marin and head out for the morning, but no, I have to go and work with all those cityboy wankers who spend more time in front of the mirror than the women (and I ain't joking) and whats with these haridos that look like they have combed the hair with a giant banger then got a fresian to lick the fringe down FFS!

Back in my day it were a short back and sides if you were lucky!!!

    GOOD MOOOOOOOOORNING FREAKS!

Can't you just feel the awesomeness...

Commuted in today, spinning a 34X14 to get some suppleness into my legs. Ar5e is a bit sore this morning after yesterday's ride with Rich (Ooh er matron...). My own fault, I'd left the rear shock locked...

    *Commercial Break*

Meanwhile, here's a word from our Sponsors

    *Back to the post*

Today, I'm setting the excitement mode at 8. This is going to rise towards 9 by tomorrow evening, 10 on Thursday and be off the scale on Friday. Got a few more bits and bobs to sort out and I also need to get a haircut.

Not much to do in the office, so I shall hassle Mrs C via text to enquire as to when my parcels arrive... :D

So we had a cuddle & then left the wife to slumber ville & had a good scrap - his punches are getting much better :)

Work today should hopefully be better than yesterday. Out for a run later sounds a plan.

    Greetings maggots..

Just another insanely busy day at work for me today. As usual the bike will be accompanying me so I can get my 2nd weekday ride in this week as according to the Met Office the weather is decent today, not that a little rain would ever deter me from riding.

The new cassette, cassette tool and chain whip (so I can DIY it) are en route today according to CRC and Merlin respectively. So more tools to my collection and little more independence from the bike shops :¬)

See you tonight when I return home from my ride only to be greeted by Milo my whinging cat who demands that I feed his furball @ss upon arrival at "his house"
Perhaps Milo needs a close encounter with a train to realise life ain't so bad after all

    Morning bike peoples

Today I shall be working, I'd rather not be, particularly when I'm catching up on the work for the guy who took my job when i quit. Turns out he's rubbish at it and I was brilliant. I'd rather not be but I'm selling my dignity today because I broke my saddle and need money to replace it.

Following this I will be on merlins website drooling over new wheels :P

Come to think of it, i may go to work and drool over new wheels on merlins website, then when i get home i can find something equally shiny that i want/need

(oh and if I was a woman, I'd not be working, I'd be too busy at home looking at my own breasts)

they do but not the 29er version. Grr.

the hair do thing annoys me too. i have spent far too much time in the east end recently through work, and i must say fridays are the best, especially the biking chicks, just awesome. its very hard to drive around and not stare or crash into them/cars/buildings/pedestrians etc.

  • Just got an email from CRC saying that my order has been part shipped

They've sent the Joplin, but not the frame.

Hopefully, this is simply due to the fact they use Parcelforce 48hr to deliver the frame, and RM 1st class for everything else.

    Morning all,

Epic breakfast fail this morning, nothing in the fridge or cupboards so had to resort to just having a yoghurt, bad times.

Am starting to look around for a new phone as I can upgrade next month. I pay £20 a month at the moment and I really don’t want to pay more than this, but it seems to limit your choice of phones, I would like something with Android as this seems to be the way to go. 2 of the options in range are the SE Experia Mini or the HTC HD mini, anyone got any experience on these? Are the “mini” version smart phones worth it, or just not powerful enough?

Today’s random “True or False” question: John Cleese’s family surname used to be Cheese?

    Is it 5 yet?

I bought a T-mobile Pulse Mini last week as my last phone had died and I got fed up with paying for unlimited BB and not using it.

The phone is great, it weighs enough to feel sturdy while not being noticable in the pocket when walking/riding. And having Droid v2.1 installed it's great for anything you could ever want a phone to do.

The only thing that can get annoying is the lack of resistive touch screen and the processor could be a little quicker (though It's still more responsive than any WinMobile phone I have owned)

As long as a phone has Droid OS, GPS, WiFi, HSDPA a camera and SD card slot I am happy. And for £80 you really can't go wrong :D

Sorry for the wall of text
  • Gutting fish. Is there a worse job?

My bro-in-law generously gave me a rainbow and a brown trout fresh out of the water but he only did half the job as he's only half an angler. I think god was having a laugh when he created fish

I'm torn between being grateful for receiving them and offended that he (bro-in-law, not god - OK maybe god) dumped the worst job in the world on me.

Well, I did it but I had to wear latex gloves and nearly puked and now I don't want to look at them. I'll cook them tomorrow with a bit of butter, lemon and some herbs and serve them to myself with a crisp salad and it will all be forgotten. Off to work now.

  • Happy Harry I used to be a fishmonger! You get used to it ;)

Well, today I turned up to work to find my workmate smiling with that look of 'Ive got bad news for you but I'm going to enjoy telling you about it' Turns out he's been offered a job somewhere, and will be leaving in 4 weeks. Good for him, f*c***g s*it for me. I'm gonna be run off my feet, and possibly paid barely any more money for the privilege.
I hope my meeting with a sergeant on Saturday is fruitful.

Last night was poo, I went to Tesco, started shopping and the bleedin fire alarm went off  so then had to wait 45 mins to finish the shopping. Also, for some unknown reason, my Broadband and Phoneline aren't working, so I have to have a technician come round tomorrow evening to fix it

I'm going to buy some FiveFingers on my credit card, and go for a run tonight me thinks
